One of the reasons why those who committed suicide chose the homicide option is the wrong thought that they were ALONE in their afflictions. Those who share similar thoughts are already adding weight to their problems. And Christians who share the unbelieving opinion are not only being fearful but guilty of accusing God of child neglect (Heb 13:5, Mat 28:20).

There is no situation in life when a person is alone in the wilderness of affliction. If you are a child of God the Trinity combined is very much in agony with you. The church, the body of Christ, your immediate family, friends employer, beneficiaries of your talent, gift and ministry are part of the stakeholders in your suffering. Hence, you are not expected to feel lonely because you are never alone in your trouble. Take solace in this and utilize the opportunity to solve your problem.

Your FAMILY members are affected in your suffering. Though, it is written “among my people are found wicked men” (Jer. 5:26 ) the message is also clear that not all of them are wicked. In second Kings Chapter five we have the story of a military officer, Naaman, who had leprosy. The Bible unfolds it that even the slave girl in the officer's house is in agony with him. And, through the advice of the slave girl, Naamanwas healed and joy was restored into the family. May the Lord give utterance to that person whose advice will lead to the solution of your present predicament in Jesus name, Amen.

There are other examples in the bible showing to us that family members too are equally sharing in one's affliction. You can read of the concern of Jairus about his sick and later dead daughter. (Matt 9: 18-26).In mark 7:25–30 the Bible records how the faith of a woman helped to deliver her daughter from evil spirit. You are not alone in your suffering.

Your FRIENDS are not comfortable due to your present predicament. Your friends“indeed” will never fold their arms while you are crying for help. During the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ, four men had a friend who was paralytic and needed to be healed, but they could not enter the house where Jesus was ministering because of the crowd . Their desire was so strong that they found another way to reach Jesus! When Jesus saw their faith. He said to the paralyzed man, “Son, thy sins  be forgiven thee” and the  man was healed (Mrk. 2:1-12) You are not alone in your suffering.

Your EMPLOYER cannot sit on the fence when you or your family members are passing through sickness. Please, read this “But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever; and anon they tell him (Jesus) of her, And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them”. (Mrk. 1:30-31). Jesus Christ, the employer of Simon Peter changed His schedule to minister to the need of his disciples relative I pray that the Lord will use your employment not only to care for your welfare, but to be much concerned about your relatives too. You are not alone in your suffering.

The CHURCH, as the Body of Jesus Christ will never cease from fasting and interceding for any member who is passing through an affliction. This we can read in the life of the early church in Jerusalem. “Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him” (Acts 12:5). The effect of the fervent prayer of the righteous body was the miraculous release of Apostle Peter from prison (v. 7-11)

Paul, in his letter to the Roman Christians writes “So we, being many are one body in Christ and everyone members one of another”. (Rom. 12:5) So, the church must “Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not please ourselves”. (12:15; 15:1). The church should do more in meeting the needs of the troubled souls. Be encouraged. You are not alone in your suffering.

GOD, who created you for a purpose onearth, is not blind to your suffering and the oppressing labour you are undergoing. It is clearly written in the Bible “And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people…in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; and I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians”. (Exod. 3:7-8). God is ready to deliver you too from your affliction, because he knows your sorrows, having seen your afflictions.

May the Lord empower you to cry more in prayer until you are heard. And, “hear thee in the day of trouble,…defend thee; send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion…. Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfill all thy counsel”, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ (Ps. 20:1-4). Be motivated. You are not alone in your suffering.

JESUS CHRIST, who came into the flesh of this world to deliver us from sin and the confinement of physical dwelling on earth is not unsympathetic to your sorrow. “For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are yet without sin” (Heb. 4:15). He understands your weakness and sorrow having tasted of such affliction while on earth. Be comforted of His caring sympathy and move forward. You are not alone your suffering.

THE HOLY SPIRIT is “another comforter” (1Jn. 14:16) when it comes to human trouble and the feeling of loneliness. There are many marvelous things to know about the Holy Spirit: He is the source of our power (Act. 1:8) in addition to being our comforter. He is a wonderful Teacher and a Revealer of secrets and of the future. (Jn.14:26; 16:13). If you have experienced Him as the Comforter, you will be able to comfort others in times of their sorrow. (2 Cor. 1:4). Those who have experienced sorrow and the comfort of the Holy Spirit are of much use in comforting the sorrowful people.

It has been stated earlier that you need to cry to God in prayer until you are heard, but, if you will not cry amiss you need to employ the help of the Holy Spirit. “Likewise the Spirit alsohelpeth our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought but the Spirit ……. Maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered”.(Rom.8:26). It is here that believers in Christ have an edge over unbelievers. Since Christians are the carriers of the Holy Spirit (1Jn.4:4) it is very easy for the Holy Spirit to help them to pray alright and to receive Divine Comfort. Be strengthened as a believer. You are not alone in your suffering.

Even, the YORUBA beliefs confirm the fact that a person is never alone in suffering. This is contained in the proverb “Kiiburu, buruki o ma kuEnikanmoni, enitiyooku la o mo” Literally, it can never be so bad that a person will not have an admirer,However, we may not know whom that person may be. In times of adversity, there will always be a friend who sticks closer than a relative. I therefore decree that the person reserved for your alleviation from your present dilemma will no more delay in coming to your aid in Jesus name. You are not alone in your suffering.

That notwithstanding, there is a suffering many people are ignorant of, Some are not ignorant of it but, they take it lightly. Many stakeholders are affected in the suffering of such people. Even heaven is affected. This type of suffering is eternal in nature.

Now, read the confession of Pastor E.A. Adeboye “I cannot forget the wife of one of my friends; I was his best man at their wedding. My friends wife will say to me, “Please give your life to Christ and be born again” But I would tell her “ I am already a Christian, and my Christian name is Enoch” she would reply “That is not what I am talking about” and then she would begin to cry. I would look at her and wonder what was wrong with her, saying.“I am not the worst fellow around…” However, she kept on praying and crying sowing in tears for my salvation. Today, she is now laughing.”(Open Heaven 2017) You are not alone in your suffering.

I believe The Holy Spirit is currently working in the heart of somebody through the confession of Pastor E.A. Adeboye. I therefore hand over that person to the Revealer of secret to meet the person at that point of needs that can prevent from eternal suffering. Heaven wants to rejoice over your decision (Lk.15:7) Throw away your fear and shame. Decide today. You are not alone in your suffering.
